This NFT channel for lettuce is built for butterhead, romaine, oakleaf, basil, kale, pak choi and every other leafy crop grown on a nutrient film. It suits commercial greenhouse benches, container farms and vertical racks. Also, it is the standard section we recommend for projects between one and fifty hectares.
Channels are laid on a levelled support frame at a 1 to 2 percent fall, joined with connectors and closed with end caps that carry the drain spout. Because the NFT channel for lettuce is extruded to your hole spacing, transplanting can start the same day the row is assembled. Also, there is no drilling on site.
GNFORTUNE has produced hydroponic profiles since 2015 and holds design patents on its channel bases. Each NFT channel for lettuce is extruded from virgin PVC, checked for wall thickness and straightness. Also, packed for export. We also supply the matching reservoir, pump, fittings and support frames so one order covers the whole row. You can read more about the background of this method on Nutrient film technique.
