Moving Gutter System MGS 73x62mm. A moving gutter system lets the crop travel instead of the worker. Channels are pushed along the rack over time. As a result, seedlings start at high density near the planting end and are spaced out automatically as they grow, which lifts output per square metre and cuts the labour needed per kilogram harvested.

This moving gutter system is designed for smart leafy vegetable production in automatic greenhouses, where lettuce, herbs and Asian greens are sown dense and spaced out as they mature. It suits both new-build automated houses and growers converting fixed benches to a moving rack layout.
The rack carries rows of channels that are advanced manually or by a drive unit at set intervals. Because the moving gutter system concentrates sowing, transplanting and harvest at the row ends. Also, one worker can service far more plants. Also, the patented depressed base keeps the nutrient film centred no matter where the channel sits.
GNFORTUNE developed the 5th generation MGS profile and holds the design patent on its depressed base. Every channel is extruded from virgin food-grade PVC, load tested to 80 kg and certified to RoHS.
